Midweek Video Snack--Lisa Bouchelle Performs "Time" at New York City Rescue Mission

Universal Recording artist, Lisa Bouchelle lends a hand at an event today at The New York City Rescue Mission where Al Yeganeh's charity, "Al's Feed The Hungry Foundation" (AFTHF), donated 20,000 bowls of soup to NYC's homeless and hungry. Bouchelle, a World Hunger Year (WHY) Artist Against Hunger and Poverty, performed her song "Time", which also appears on the WHY/Hard Rock Cafe compilation "Serve 3".

The objective of the New York City Rescue Mission (NYCRM), America's First Rescue Mission, has remained the same since its founding in 1872: to provide spiritual hope, food, clothing and shelter to people in crisis in New York City. This model has been replicated by 300 rescue missions throughout the country.

NYCRM overnight guests are offered nutritious meals, housing, spiritual guidance, medical/social service support and clean clothing. Our long-term residents are offered career development assistance, financial and job skills training, internet and e-mail access, and GED preparation courses. The men in our Recovery Program recieve weekly individual and group counseling, as well as Bible study and discipleship.
